Senior Data Engineer – Qlik Sense Analytics

About the role

eClinical Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead Qlik Sense analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with product managers, implementation consultants, and clients to design, develop, and deliver data‑driven solutions that support clinical trial data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design Qlik Sense architecture, implement load scripts, and follow best‑practice guidelines.
• Develop dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions using Qlik Sense.
• Integrate data from multiple sources through ETL processes, create QVD files, and apply set analysis.
• Model data using dimensional, star, and snowflake schemas.
• Validate dashboards and internal applications with strong SQL Server skills.
• Deploy and manage Qlik Sense applications via Qlik Management Console (QMC).
• Gather requirements from implementation consultants, product managers, and clients.
• Configure, migrate, and support Qlik Sense applications while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Software Quality Assurance team to test functionality.
• Manage multiple timelines, deliverables, and client communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor/MTech/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of end‑to‑end business intelligence implementation using Qlik Sense.
• Strong understanding of Qlik Sense best practices, data modeling, and SQL Server ETL development.
• Experience with Agile SDLC, technical project management, and team leadership.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.
