About the role

Capco is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the PSM‑Libra team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building and maintaining large‑scale data pipelines and core services that power machine‑learning and analytics solutions for the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

Collect, store, process, and analyze large data sets.
Select, implement, maintain, and monitor optimal data solutions.
Integrate solutions with company architecture and develop core services for ML and analytics.

Required profile

Lead and collaborate with cross‑functional and virtual teams.
Process and rationalise structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Strong understanding of distributed computing and scalable application design.
Deep knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem, especially Hortonworks/Cloudera platforms.
Self‑starter with strong technical skills who can deliver under tight deadlines.

Required skills

Hortonworks and Cloudera platforms
HDFS, Hive, Spark (PySpark)
Scala
Python (Anaconda environment) and Python‑based ML model deployment
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Hudson, Ansible
Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools: Confluence, JIRA
Python web frameworks: Flask, Tornado, Twisted
Front‑end basics: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
ElasticSearch Stack (ELK)
Google Cloud Platform (DataProc, Dataflow)
Git/GitLab version control
Test‑driven development (TDD) and SDLC knowledge
