Senior Corporate Counsel – Global Ethics & Integrity (JAPAC)

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a senior legal professional to join its Office of Global Ethics & Integrity in India. The role focuses on ethics and compliance matters across the JAPAC region, supporting internal investigations, policy development, and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations of non‑HR Code of Conduct issues across JAPAC.
• Advise business partners on ethics‑related questions and prepare enablement sessions.
• Perform policy and program gap analyses, develop action plans, and enhance anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, anti‑fraud, global trade, public sector ethics, and political law programs.
• Identify and review potential conflicts of interest, and assess gift and entertainment submissions for compliance.
• Manage outside counsel engagements, billing, and e‑discovery processes.
• Collaborate with sales, alliances, technology, and operations teams to drive operational efficiency and risk‑based scaling.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, lawyer, compliance officer, or auditor with a strong ethics and compliance focus.
• Deep knowledge of FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and regional anti‑corruption laws, including India’s Prevention of Corruption Act.
• Proven experience leading internal investigations and supervising outside counsel.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

• E‑discovery platform familiarity, including search design, review, and quality control.
