Senior Collections Associate – GB/G

About the role

As a GB/G Collections Senior Associate Specialist, you will manage and reconcile complex customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and supporting BASF's new Global Hub in India. You will work closely with finance, sales, and HR teams in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers via email, calls, and WhatsApp; send updated account statements to high‑complexity customers and sales teams.
• Provide necessary information to the Accounts Receivable team to ensure payments are correctly applied and keep customer data up‑to‑date in the Get Paid collection tool.
• Participate in ad‑hoc meetings with customers and business units to follow up on disputes.
• Adhere to established processes and guidelines.
• Assist in the analysis, preparation, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Contribute to medium and large projects.
• Monitor KPIs such as Overdue and DSO for the assigned portfolio and provide explanations when required.
• Deliver training to team members and customers as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate in International Relations, Communication, or equivalent customer‑service experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in collections or finance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
