Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Azure (TechOps/CloudOps)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in the Azure platform. You will own end‑to‑end DevOps processes, from infrastructure automation to CI/CD pipeline delivery, ensuring high‑availability and resilient cloud services. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, implementing secure networking, workload identities, and governance policies.
• Develop reusable ARM and Bicep infrastructure‑as‑code templates, migrate legacy ARM templates, and enforce IaC best practices.
• Architect and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including secure secrets management and pipeline governance.
• Design Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, establishing identity, networking, and policy guardrails.
• Create and manage Terraform modules and Terraform Cloud workspaces for consistent, version‑controlled provisioning.
• Lead incident escalations, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive resolution across cloud environments.
• Produce comprehensive architectural documentation, deployment guides, and runbooks, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer on Azure, with a strong track record of delivering production‑grade solutions.
• Ability to lead technical escalations and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and cost‑optimization principles.
