Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in the Azure platform. You will lead the design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high‑availability, security, and cost‑efficiency for mission‑critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including networking, identity, and governance.
• Create and maintain reusable ARM and Bicep infrastructure‑as‑code templates, migrating legacy ARM scripts to Bicep.
• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, integrating GitOps workflows, secrets management, and pipeline governance.
• Define and implement Azure Landing Zones following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, establishing identity, networking, and policy guardrails.
• Develop and manage Terraform modules and Terraform Cloud/Enterprise for consistent, version‑controlled provisioning.
• Produce architectural documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Handle escalations, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience building and operating Azure‑based cloud environments.
• Proven track record delivering CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions at scale.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience leading incident resolution.
