Senior CAM Developer – Cimatron

About the role

The Senior CAM Developer will own complex CAM engineering challenges within the NC division, working autonomously on algorithms, toolpaths, and application infrastructure. The role can follow either the NC Algorithms track or the Application & Infrastructure track, reporting to the CAM manager and collaborating with development, QA, and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NC toolpath algorithms for roughing, semi‑finishing, super‑finish, turning, and 3‑ to 5‑axis milling.
• Lead the architecture and modernization of the NC application layer, migrating business logic to a clean, framework‑independent service layer.
• Develop GPU‑accelerated computation paths to enable high‑performance toolpath generation.
• Implement surface‑based super‑finish strategies using native geometric surface data.

• Deep technical expertise in CAM and NC software development.
• Strong product and project management awareness.
• Ability to coordinate across business units without direct supervision.
