Senior Business Analyst with Azure DevOps

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to join long-lived Agile delivery squads supporting the Health Transformation Programme and the Legacy Health Estate Change Portfolio. The role sits inside multidisciplinary product and delivery teams and covers the full change lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through design, development, testing, implementation and benefits realisation. It is a remote position based in India.

Key responsibilities

• Work in persistent Agile squads to deliver change initiatives and elicit, analyse, document and validate business requirements across Health Transformation and Legacy Health domains.
• Translate needs into epics, features, user stories, process models and functional requirements, with clear, testable acceptance criteria (Gherkin or equivalent).
• Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and sprint planning with Product Owners and Delivery Leads.
• Conduct current-state and future-state analysis, run workshops and interviews, and produce as-is and to-be process maps, system interaction models, business rules, data requirements and traceability records.
• Manage impacts, dependencies, assumptions, risks and opportunities, and challenge requirements so they meet strategic goals.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, taking part in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, and promoting collaboration across onshore and offshore colleagues.
• Support solution design, impact assessments, integration considerations and change planning, keeping traceability between needs, requirements, design, tests and outcomes.
• Work with Quality Engineering on acceptance criteria, test scenarios, defect triage, UAT planning and sign-off, and validate delivered solutions.
• Improve BA standards and templates, promote Agile, Lean and product-centric ways of working, share knowledge and mentor less experienced analysts.

Required profile

• Experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Agile software and technology delivery, in cross-functional squads spanning Product, Engineering, Architecture and Quality Engineering.
• Proven ability to create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria, and to support delivery from discovery through testing, release and implementation.
• Strong as-is and to-be process modelling and system interaction modelling skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills across business and technical audiences.
• Experience working across geographically distributed teams and with UK-based stakeholders.

Required skills

• Agile delivery tooling, especially Jira and Confluence.
• Desirable: experience in health insurance, insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors; digital transformation and legacy modernisation projects.
• Desirable: Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud), APIs and integrations, data migration and quality, and Azure DevOps.
• English at C1 Advanced level.
