Senior Bench Sales Recruiter – US IT Staffing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Bench Sales Recruiter with at least four years of hands‑on experience in US IT staffing. The role focuses on marketing and placing bench consultants with US‑based clients, building strong vendor relationships, and driving revenue through successful placements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and market IT consultants on the bench to match client requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, implementation partners, prime vendors, and direct clients.
• Source opportunities from vendor portals, recruiter networks, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Promote consultants via calls, emails, LinkedIn and recruiter networks.
• Negotiate rates, interview schedules, contracts and terms with vendors/clients.
• Coordinate interviews and follow‑up with consultants and clients throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain up‑to‑date consultant profiles including resumes, availability, skills, location, work authorizations and rates.
• Build and sustain a robust vendor database and recruiter network.
• Generate daily submissions and achieve consistent interview and placement activity.
• Track submissions, interviews, offers and placements using internal trackers/CRM.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the vendor/client network.
• Meet and exceed monthly submission, interview and placement targets.

Required profile

• 4+ years of bench sales experience in US IT staffing.
• Strong knowledge of the US staffing ecosystem and recruitment processes.
• Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with US work authorizations (OPT, CPT, H‑1B, H‑4 EAD, GC, US Citizens) and staffing models (W2, C2C, contract).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple consultants simultaneously.
