Senior Banquet Server

About the role

The Senior Banquet Server is a full‑time, on‑site position at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. You will lead service for banquets, conferences, weddings and corporate events, ensuring food and beverage delivery is efficient, gracious and aligned with Aldovia’s brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and buffet layouts.
• Lead and guide junior servers throughout each event.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
• Interact with guests to handle special requests, resolve service issues and provide attentive support.
• Collaborate closely with the banquet captain, kitchen team and event coordinators to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Strong food service and food‑and‑beverage experience, especially with banquet setups and service styles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven customer‑service focus with a professional, calm demeanor.
• Prior experience in upscale hotels or resorts is highly beneficial.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, work flexible hours (including weekends/evenings) and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards; hospitality training or certification is an advantage.
• Reliability, attention to detail and commitment to refined, gracious service.
