Senior Backend Engineer – Toolchain & Knowledge Graph

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Bosch’s Process‑Tools organization in Bangalore. You will own the design and delivery of the central engineering toolchain, building the data backbone that connects tools such as Jira, Codebeamer and Splunk into a unified, intelligent system.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain scalable backend services in Java and Python for the tool knowledge‑graph platform.
• Design and operate high‑performance data pipelines with Apache Kafka, ensuring reliable real‑time data flow.
• Create and manage semantic data models, mappings and APIs using SPARQL, GraphQL and RML.
• Collaborate with global development teams and process architects to define requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in peer code reviews and take end‑to‑end ownership of code quality, maintenance and support.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior backend engineer with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills with distributed, multicultural teams.
