Senior Backend Developer – AI/ML Data Engineer for ADAS

About the role

Bosch is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and optimise high‑performance backend systems for ADAS AI/ML data pipelines. The role focuses on Python‑based microservices, containerised deployments, and event‑driven architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build reliable RESTful APIs and integrate with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Implement real‑time messaging and data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver new features.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise system performance and reliability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments on cloud platforms.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Strong Python expertise with production‑grade FastAPI, Flask or Django projects.
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes and event‑driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL data modelling and optimisation.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar message brokers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
