Senior Avionics Software Verification

About the role

Airbus Group India is seeking a senior professional to lead integration, verification and validation of safety‑critical real‑time embedded software for avionics, complying with DO‑178C Level A/B standards.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate software components and generate builds.
• Define verification strategy and develop test environments.
• Prepare verification cases and procedures.
• Execute functional and performance tests to ensure software requirements compliance.
• Analyze test results, update verification reports, and support root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in avionics software verification and integration.
• Proven ability to work with global, multi‑site teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Verification/Integration of application and platform software for avionics.
• Configuration and change management.
• DO‑178C Level A/B software development.
• Version control and CI tools: Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Test automation framework: Robot Framework.
• Knowledge of product‑line and client‑server architectures (nice to have).
• Familiarity with certification audits (nice to have).
