Senior Auditor – Lead Auditing Projects

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Auditors to manage and oversee multiple auditing projects. In this role you will ensure audits are completed accurately, lead a team of junior auditors, and uphold the highest standards of financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute auditing projects of varying sizes.
• Assign roles and tasks to team members and monitor progress.
• Maintain quality and accuracy standards for all audit deliverables.
• Present findings and audit outcomes to management and stakeholders.
• Develop coaching strategies to improve junior auditors' performance.
• Act as the primary liaison for team needs and requirements.
• Assist in audit execution when needed and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Stay current with relevant legislation, standards and industry developments.
• Identify, report and help resolve auditing issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in auditing procedures and project management.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor audit teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret large volumes of financial data.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS, IAS and GAAP standards.
• Understanding of internal control measures.
• Familiarity with tax compliance, business compliance and financial regulations.
• Project and team management principles.
