Senior Attorney – Legal (India & South Asia)

About the role
IBM is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its India and South Asia (ISA) legal team. You will provide legal advice and support to IBM’s domestic businesses and global delivery missions across a range of technology‑focused services.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and negotiate commercial engagements and contracts with government and commercial entities for IBM Consulting and IBM Technology.
- Support business functions such as procurement, security, real estate, HR, and finance on regulatory compliance, contractual disputes, litigation, intellectual property, privacy and cybersecurity matters.
- Facilitate compliance with IBM policies and procedures and drive process improvements within the legal function.
Required profile
- Qualified to practice law in India with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience negotiating IT, software and cloud contracts with government and commercial clients.
- Familiarity with Indian government procurement policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct and ability to work autonomously.
