Senior Associate – SAP OpenText (VIM) – Advisory

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Advisory practice in Chennai, specialising in SAP OpenText solutions. The successful candidate will lead and support end‑to‑end SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) projects, helping clients improve invoice processing, compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement SAP VIM solutions, including workflow scenarios and custom reports.
• Lead VIM patching and upgrade initiatives and ensure smooth transitions.
• Deliver full‑life‑cycle SAP FI implementations for at least one project.
• Collaborate with functional teams on SAP MM and FICO modules to align VIM with business processes.
• Provide training, documentation and post‑go‑live support to client teams.
• Assist with OCR and BCC setup to enhance invoice capture automation.

Required profile

• Minimum of one complete SAP FI implementation project.
• Strong understanding of VIM 7.5+ functionality and workflow.
• Experience with SAP MM and FICO functional knowledge.
• Ability to present and configure VIM workflows and reporting.
• Good communication skills and client‑facing experience.
