Senior Associate SAP BASIS – Mumbai

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate with strong SAP BASIS expertise to manage and optimise the technical infrastructure of SAP environments for our clients in Mumbai. You will work independently and provide critical support to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and monitor SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, BW, R/3 and ECC.
• Manage system performance, capacity planning and technical troubleshooting.
• Perform system copies, upgrades, refreshes and migrations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams and support additional SAP applications such as Solution Manager, Portal and BODS.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of hands‑on experience with SAP BASIS.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and S/4HANA architecture.
• Experience with HANA, Oracle or DB2 database administration.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to team members.
