Senior Associate – Java/Python Advisory (Bangalore)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Advisory practice in Bangalore. The role combines Java and Python development with risk‑management and internal‑audit transformation projects, leveraging emerging GenAI technologies to deliver innovative solutions for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java and Python applications supporting audit, risk and advisory services.
• Assist clients in setting up or transforming internal‑audit functions, including co‑sourcing and managed‑service models.
• Work on middle‑office and investment‑operations processes such as trade lifecycle, reconciliations and settlements across multiple asset classes (equity, FI, FX, derivatives, corporate actions).
• Apply GenAI/agentic tools (AutoGPT, LangChain, ReAct, DSPy) to automate data‑analysis and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with cyber, forensics and compliance teams to address end‑to‑end risk scenarios.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a strong middle‑office or investment‑operations background.
• Experience handling trade‑life‑cycle activities, reconciliations and settlements.
• Comfortable working in global shift patterns (night/EMEA) when required.
• Familiarity with Aladdin is a strong differentiator, though not mandatory.
