Senior Associate – Java Full Stack Engineer (Data & Analytics)

About the role

Pwc is looking for a hands‑on Senior Associate to design, build and modernise enterprise‑grade micro‑services and front‑end applications. You will work on Java 17/21 platforms, event‑driven architectures with Kafka, and React or Angular front‑ends hosted on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable micro‑services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
• Implement modern front‑end solutions with React or Angular and integrate them via REST APIs.
• Design and operate data pipelines, integration and transformation components on Azure (AKS, App Service, DevOps).
• Ensure code quality through automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation and performance optimisation across mission‑critical platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with Java (8 / 11 / 17+).
• Strong background in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and micro‑services architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in front‑end development using React or Angular (2 + years).
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services, Docker and CI/CD tooling.
