Senior Associate Institutional NFR UK/EU

About the role

The Senior Associate Institutional NFR supports the management of non‑financial risk across ANZ's International business, focusing on the London, Paris and Frankfurt branches. Working closely with business and risk partners, you will help ensure that risk is identified, assessed, managed and reported in line with the bank’s appetite and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist business leaders with non‑financial risk decisions, providing insight on risk appetite and control effectiveness.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report material risks, including NFR events, issues and key risk indicators.
• Support governance processes, risk reporting, escalation and regulatory compliance across Markets, Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance and Coverage.
• Contribute to New Product Due Diligence (NPDD) and Ongoing Product Review (OPR) to embed risk considerations throughout product lifecycles.
• Help deliver the PACT program to uplift NFR capability and processes across the region.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of non‑financial risk concepts and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a banking or financial services environment.
• Ability to analyse complex risk information and communicate findings clearly.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on building a robust risk culture.
