Senior Associate – Data Engineering (Advisory) – Bangalore

About the role

PWC is looking for a Senior Associate to lead data engineering engagements within its Data & Analytics Advisory practice in Bangalore. You will work with clients to turn raw data into actionable insights, helping them optimise operations and achieve strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and PySpark.
• Collaborate with client teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead data architecture and platform decisions for complex analytics projects.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and ensure best‑practice implementation.
• Support the delivery of business intelligence solutions that drive competitive advantage.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Spark, PySpark and Python.
• Experience delivering data solutions on cloud‑native platforms.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage project delivery.
