Senior Associate – Azure & Databricks Solution (Digital Integration)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Advisory practice in Kolkata, focusing on Azure and Databricks solutions for digital integration. You will work within the data and analytics engineering team to design, build and automate robust data platforms that turn raw data into actionable insights for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend applications using Flask and Django.
• Deliver high‑performance REST APIs and write reusable, efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Architect and implement distributed microservices, leveraging Temporal workflows for complex process orchestration.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a software developer with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and ensure smooth delivery.
• Experience migrating legacy enterprise applications to microservice architectures and handling data migration.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to work collaboratively.
