Senior Associate / Assistant Manager – Occupier Consulting (Real Estate)

About the role

Colliers is seeking a high‑performing Senior Associate or Assistant Manager to join its Occupier Consulting team in Mumbai. You will work on complex real‑estate and business‑strategy assignments, helping leading organisations make informed portfolio, location and workplace decisions. The role requires strong analytical, research and presentation abilities, with a passion for problem‑solving and financial modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop proposals, pitches (RFPs) and client consulting documents, as well as internal best‑practice tools.
• Interpret data at a high level, create strategies, and build solution or business cases.
• Apply critical thinking and case‑method problem solving to deliver client outcomes.
• Coordinate with teams across different cities and countries.
• Conduct both primary and secondary research and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant consulting, strategy or real‑estate experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred) and an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, data interpretation and visualisation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of creating compelling presentations and client‑facing documents.
• Proven research capabilities in primary and secondary methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, multi‑geography teams.
• Meticulous organisational skills and a commitment to high‑quality outputs.
