Senior Architect & Construction Manager – Airport Projects

About the role

The Senior Architect cum Construction Manager will lead construction supervision, quality assurance and design compliance for architectural works, interior fit‑outs, façade systems and finishes on an airport development project. Reporting to the Project Incharge/Project Head, the role ensures that all architectural elements meet approved designs, specifications, operational requirements and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction supervision and quality control of architectural works, interior fit‑outs, façade systems and finishes, ensuring timely completion according to programme.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups and method statements to guarantee compliance with design intent and employer requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, BIM and airport systems teams to manage multidisciplinary interfaces and resolve technical conflicts.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and ensure rectification of defects and non‑conformities.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, punch‑listing and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; registration with the Council of Architecture preferred.
• 15‑20 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years on aviation projects involving airport terminals and related infrastructure.
• Proven experience in construction supervision of architectural finishes, façade systems and passenger‑facing facilities.
• Experience in PMC, design consultancy, EPC or client‑side project management environments.
