Senior Applied Value Engineer – Consumer Packaged Goods

About the role

As a Senior Applied Value Engineer focusing on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), you will partner with strategic customers to translate AI strategies into concrete, high‑impact solutions built on Celonis’ Process Intelligence platform. You will prototype, demonstrate, and drive adoption of AI‑enabled process transformations that deliver measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customers’ AI strategies and business challenges, then design and prototype innovative solutions that combine Process Intelligence with leading AI/ML partners.
• Lead hackathons and rapid‑prototype sessions, leveraging generative AI technologies to solve critical business problems.
• Guide customers through agentic process transformation, enabling autonomous AI agents that operate at scale.
• Execute end‑to‑end Proof‑of‑Value projects, delivering secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails.
• Stay engaged with projects until agreed value and adoption thresholds are met, ensuring lasting impact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical pre‑sales experience, including AI roadmap definition, ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping of ML and generative AI solutions.
• Proven experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Retail (CPGR) industry.
• Strong ability to translate high‑level business needs into specific AI use cases across domains such as supply chain or finance.
• Excellent presentation skills for executive audiences, both in white‑boarding sessions and formal demos.
