Senior Android Developer – 2.5 to 4 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and launch custom Android applications from concept to market. The ideal candidate blends strong engineering expertise with creativity and a focus on timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of development, from design and planning to deployment.
• Rapidly prototype proof‑of‑concept features based on brief specifications.
• Develop and maintain new features using the Java/Kotlin stack.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of a complete system component or application.
• Write unit test cases for assigned modules.
• Provide innovative technical solutions and optimize app performance.
• Stay current with mobile technology trends and best practices.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of software development experience with a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Android mobile application development.
• Experience in a start‑up environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Android development with Java and Kotlin.
• Design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, MVC and Android Architecture Components.
• Third‑party libraries/APIs: RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger, Glide.
• Core Android components: Activities, Services, BroadcastReceivers, Intents, Handlers.
• Background processing, battery and memory optimization, multithreading, location services, push notifications, remote config.
• Coroutines (optional).
• Version control with Git.
