Senior Analyst, R&A (Credit & Portfolio Reporting)

About the role

The Senior Analyst joins the Research & Analysis (R&A) team within ANZ Institutional Banking. The role supports data‑driven decision‑making for corporate banking portfolios by monitoring, reporting and analysing large data sets across client portfolios and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, extract and manage data from internal systems, CRM and CSV files.
• Build and maintain daily, weekly and monthly Excel‑based reports, trackers and dashboards.
• Analyse financial and client data to identify trends, risks and actionable insights.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management reviews, highlighting key KPIs and variances.
• Automate reporting processes using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables and Macros/VBA.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and timely delivery of all reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting needs and communicate insights.
• Develop knowledge of credit processes and systems (OCP, NOVA, Razor, Orion, Credit Lens) and gradually support credit memo preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting or related finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros/VBA).
• PowerPoint for creating executive presentations.
• Data extraction from internal systems, CRM and CSV files.
• Familiarity with credit systems such as OCP, NOVA, Razor, Orion and Credit Lens.
