Senior Analyst - Procurement

About the role

Flex, a global manufacturing partner, is seeking a Senior Analyst – Procurement to join its Coimbatore team. The role supports production by ensuring timely and cost‑effective sourcing of raw materials and purchased parts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate price, delivery and quality terms.
• Place and modify purchase orders based on production requirements, shortage lists and open PO lists.
• Track shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses, and arrange transportation.
• Monitor stock levels, prevent over‑stocking, and reduce obsolescence through weekly reports.
• Handle inventory discrepancies, conduct physical checks of critical materials, and update records.
• Process invoices, resolve debit/credit issues, and ensure data privacy for purchasing information.
• Generate procurement reports, conduct quarterly supplier reviews and maintain procurement metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Data‑entry competence, including ten‑key and spreadsheet handling.
