Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure statutory compliance. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, and audit activities while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger entries and perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare vendor and customer reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Support process improvements and ensure documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting (MBA Finance is a plus).
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime and good MS Excel skills.
• Fluent in English (good written and verbal) and Tamil preferred.

What we offer

• Take‑home salary up to Rs.55,000 per month, based on experience and performance.
