Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance and timely reporting. You will work closely with finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and drive process improvements. This position supports business decisions by delivering reliable financial information and overseeing GST obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and analytical dashboards.
• Handle GST filings, statutory returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and inter‑company balances.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST and related statutory regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software for journal entries and reporting.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Age below 35 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to generate GST returns and related compliance reports.
