Senior Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our accounting firm in Andheri, Mumbai. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate books and timely compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting for multiple clients
- Perform bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
- Ensure GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements
- Coordinate with clients on accounting‑related matters
- Handle accounting software and data management
Required profile
- B.Com / BAF / M.Com or CA dropout
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts independently
- Good communication and analytical abilities
Required skills
- Proficiency in Tally
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of GST compliance
- Understanding of TDS compliance
- Bank reconciliation expertise
- Experience preparing MIS reports
- Financial statement preparation
