About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our chartered accountants firm, supporting audit, bookkeeping, and tax compliance activities across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The role involves handling GST, TDS, and income tax filings while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform articleship assignments and support audit activities.
- Maintain bookkeeping records and assist with chartered accountancy functions.
- Finalize financial statements and reports.
- Prepare and file GST returns and related compliances.
- Record journal entries and ensure accounting accuracy.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
- Utilize Tally for accounting and financial record management.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Handle taxation‑related tasks and support tax planning activities.
