Senior Accountant – GST & RCM Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting, GST compliance, and Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) transactions for a manufacturing organization. The role involves accurate bookkeeping, tax filing, and coordination with internal teams and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Manage GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR‑1 and GSTR‑3B.
• Calculate, account for, and ensure timely payment of RCM liabilities.
• Perform ITC reconciliation and overall GST reconciliation.
• Record entries related to GST, RCM, TDS, purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Conduct bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Calculate, account for, and comply with TDS requirements.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare MIS reports and other required financial statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and coordinate with auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 3‑6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, preferably with hands‑on RCM exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service organizations is valued.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GST and Reverse Charge Mechanism.
• Hands‑on experience with GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B and ITC reconciliation.
• Understanding of TDS and taxation regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Tally Prime or other ERP accounting software.
