Security Receptionist

About the role

The Security Receptionist is the first point of contact for Pinkerton’s global clients and visitors. This position blends front‑desk professionalism with security vigilance to create a welcoming yet safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, visitors, and employees with a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Manage front‑desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls.
• Handle inquiries and provide information about Pinkerton’s services.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Schedule appointments, reserve meeting rooms, and maintain calendar events.
• Keep the reception area and meeting rooms clean and orderly.
• Monitor access to the premises, enforce security protocols, and conduct visitor screenings.
• Maintain visitor logs and coordinate with the security team during emergencies.
• Report any suspicious activity or security breaches immediately.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and prior experience in reception or front‑office roles, especially within IT, tech, or corporate environments.
• Ability to monitor access points, conduct security screenings, and respond to emergencies.
• Physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including regular computer use and occasional lifting of small objects.
