Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and order across Cybercity’s roads, buildings, and key traffic points. The role involves routine patrols, incident response, and coordination with law‑enforcement and building teams to ensure a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols on Cybercity roads and within buildings, reporting observations to relevant authorities.
• Monitor and report unauthorized land encroachments.
• Manage heavy traffic at Shankar Chowk and other critical locations during peak hours.
• Oversee building security operations in the absence of a Building Security Officer.
• Respond to road accidents (4‑5 daily), clear vehicles, and prevent road closures.
• Assist building teams with incident response, VIP movements, events, and drills.
• Coordinate CCTV and footage queries with Law Enforcement Agencies.
• Prepare incident reports, conduct security investigations, audits, and mock drills.
• Consolidate lost‑and‑found records and hand over items to clients.
• Authorize gate passes, conduct surprise checks, and maintain liaison with police and fire services.

Required profile

• Experience in on‑site security patrols and incident management.
• Ability to liaise with law‑enforcement and emergency services.
• Strong observational skills for monitoring encroachments and traffic flow.
• Capability to prepare detailed incident and audit reports.
• Flexibility to work odd hours and conduct surprise checks.
