Security Officer

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Security Officer for its Madhepura site. You will be responsible for protecting people, assets and information in a dynamic transport‑technology environment, working closely with cross‑functional teams and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess threats and identify security risks for the site.
• Implement and monitor security policies, procedures and SOPs for assets, employees, visitors and vendors.
• Maintain liaison with district administration and local security networks.
• Manage security tools such as CCTV, access‑control systems and other monitoring equipment.
• Conduct investigations of security breaches and support compliance reporting.
• Oversee the security workforce, ensuring discipline and performance.
• Monitor the local political, social and security landscape and advise on crisis management.
• Organise and safeguard Alstom events held on site.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• Fluent in English and Hindi (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in defence, para‑military or private physical security.
• Experience drafting security plans, processes and SOPs.
• Basic knowledge of criminal law and cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
