Security Guard

About the role

As a professionally trained Security Guard for G4S, you will join a dedicated security team responsible for protecting a variety of premises such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories. You will conduct foot or vehicle patrols, control access, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies and help prevent criminal activity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned sites.
• Control entry points, verify identity of individuals, materials and vehicles.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and other security systems.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents and criminal activity and report them promptly.
• Write daily and incident reports according to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety and environmental instructions.
• Secure equipment, property and information.
• Patrol parking areas to detect unauthorized persons or vehicles.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 10th pass.
• Height: at least 5 ft 7 in for men, 5 ft for women.
• Age: 18‑35 for freshers, up to 40 for experienced candidates.
• Physically and medically fit with a mature appearance.
• Ability to work in shifts and stand for long periods.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring.
• Operation of security alarm and access‑control systems.
• Basic report writing.
