Security Expert / Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Expert to protect our organization’s infrastructure, networks and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. The role involves designing and implementing security strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to safeguard sensitive information.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage security policies, firewalls, VPNs and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor systems for suspicious activity, investigate breaches and respond swiftly.
• Deploy and manage SIEM solutions for real‑time threat detection.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, apply patches and manage remediation.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, lead forensic investigations and post‑incident analysis.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SEBI and others.
• Educate employees on security best practices and conduct awareness training.
• Collaborate with IT, legal and other teams to align security policies with business goals and produce detailed security reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–12 years of relevant experience in information security.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable (CISSP, CEH, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP).

• Encryption, authentication protocols and access control mechanisms.
• Cloud security across O365, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• IDS/IPS and firewall management.
