Security & Encryption Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Security & Encryption Specialist to provide administrative and maintenance support for a range of identity and encryption platforms. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft ADFS, Thales SafeNet, Thales CipherTrust Transparent Encryption, Key Management and AppviewX Certificate Lifecycle Management.
• Engage with internal communities to identify opportunities and align security solutions.
• Gather, document and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to design, develop and deliver solutions.
• Diagnose system issues, determine corrective actions and provide end‑user training.
• Participate in, and lead when required, various IT projects.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Proven project planning and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic to good coding experience in Python, PowerShell or Java.
• Understanding of software, OS, databases, networks and servers.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux and Unix environments.
• Knowledge of encryption, TLS, PKI, certificate and key management, secrets management, PAM, DNS and federated authentication.
