Security Consultant Intern

About the role

CloudSEK is looking for a Security Consultant Intern to work at the intersection of threat intelligence, security consulting and product strategy. You will get hands‑on exposure to the XVigil, BeVigil, SVigil and AIVigil platforms and see how research findings become client‑facing deliverables and product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform VAPT across web, API, mobile and cloud, triage findings and prioritize issues.
• Feed VAPT results back into product by flagging gaps, false positives and missed detections.
• Monitor the threat landscape in the Americas, including dark‑web feeds, and flag relevant actor activity.
• Conduct HUMINT/OSINT collection, infrastructure hunting and C2 mapping for prospects and customers.
• Automate repetitive research, triage and reporting steps using scripts or workflows.
• Validate exposed credentials, misconfigurations and leaked assets and assess their impact.
• Prepare client‑facing deliverables such as trial summaries, responsible disclosure reports and security impact summaries.
• Present findings on prospect or client calls, translating technical details into business impact.

Required profile

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence or security research.
• Working knowledge of VAPT methodology in at least two areas (web, API, mobile, cloud).
• Familiarity with CVEs, IOCs, TTPs, exposed credentials, attack‑surface management, OSINT and HUMINT.
• Ability to read technical documentation and communicate findings clearly.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.

Required skills

• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT).
• Understanding of CVEs, IOCs and TTPs.
• OSINT and HUMINT collection techniques.
• Scripting or workflow automation for research and reporting.
