Security Associate

About the role

The Security Associate ensures a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and assets at Pullman and Novotel hotels. Working as part of the security team, you will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents while upholding hotel standards and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas such as guest floors, lobby, and basement parking, reporting incidents, policy breaches, fire or safety hazards.
• Monitor and protect guest rooms and hotel property, providing assistance to guests as needed.
• Maintain vigilance in public areas, greet guests, and identify undesirable visitors or banned individuals.
• Operate the security control room, respond to alarms, manage communications, and keep incident logs.
• Conduct security checks at all entry points using Door Frame Metal Detectors, Hand Held Metal Detectors, Baggage Scanners, and Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems.
• Verify identity credentials, issue visitor cards, and manage vehicle access for staff and suppliers.
• Oversee basement parking security, control traffic flow, and guide visitors.
• Ensure all security equipment is functional and perform proper shift handovers.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and reporting to senior staff.
• Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies.
