Search Engine Optimization Executive

About the role

Selfcraft Media is looking for a results‑driven Search Engine Optimization Executive to design and execute data‑focused SEO strategies. You will work across on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO to boost organic rankings, attract qualified traffic and improve overall website performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and content audits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking and site architecture for all web pages.
• Develop and manage ethical link‑building campaigns, local SEO listings and citation building.
• Perform technical SEO audits, resolve crawlability, indexing and Core Web Vitals issues, and implement structured data, redirects and XML sitemaps.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog, and produce weekly/monthly KPI reports.
• Collaborate with content creators, developers and marketing teams to align SEO tactics with broader growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of hands‑on SEO experience with a proven track record of organic growth.
• Strong analytical mindset and up‑to‑date knowledge of search engine algorithms.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional teams.
