Sea Logistics Operational Care Expert – LCL

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will oversee LCL consolidation operations, ensuring efficient handling of export shipments and meeting key performance indicators. Your work will directly support the movement of medicines, toys, and critical machine parts worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review DSR, prepare COH and follow up with carriers for bookings.
• Link all house jobs and submit SI/AMS via EDI/VGMM.
• Maintain consistency on traditional SACO routes (e.g., HAM, ANR, GOA, NYC, FXT, SIN) and prepare NCRs.
• Ensure timely release of SACO bookings, prevent roll‑overs, and manage cost entry and distribution.
• Monitor SACO equipment utilization and achieve monthly utilization targets.
• Develop new SACO lanes and update sailing schedules each month.
• Coordinate with co‑loaders, plan cargo movement, send shipping instructions, and follow up on ATD, MBL, invoices, and performance feedback.
• Convert co‑loaded volumes into self‑controlled SACO shipments following the SACO → Gateway → Co‑load methodology.
• Collaborate with the CCL team to provide solutions for customers.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in sea logistics with hands‑on LCL export operations.
• Preferably 3–4 years handling 100+ files per month.
• Experience with Tier‑1 freight forwarders and co‑loaders.
• Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English, Hindi and the local language.
