About the role
Stryker is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer with strong Python expertise to lead verification and validation activities for its software projects. The role involves both automation and manual testing within an agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop verification and validation strategies that align with SDLC requirements and project constraints.
- Create, maintain, and enhance automation test frameworks using Python and Java.
- Perform manual testing, including exploratory and formal testing, and verify bugs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Execute non‑functional testing for accuracy, reliability, and performance, and support research phases of product development.
Required profile
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 7‑11 years of software testing experience (automation and manual).
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python and Java.
- Knowledge of SDLC, test methodologies, bug lifecycle, and risk assessment.
- Preferred certifications: ISTQB, CSM/PSM.
