About the role

Capgemini is seeking a senior subject‑matter expert in supply chain planning to join its Digital Supply Chain practice. The role will support both pre‑sales and delivery engagements, helping clients transform their planning processes across demand, supply, inventory, and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead opportunity assessments, develop pitch materials and detailed solution proposals for senior stakeholders.
• Own and drive high‑criticality transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery of supply chain planning initiatives.
• Provide thought leadership by creating assets, knowledge capital and innovative approaches for the practice.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and build business cases.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams across geographies to implement change and achieve client objectives.

Required profile

• 14+ years of experience in supply chain consulting or operations, with a proven track record of leading transformation projects.
• Background in FMCG, CPG, retail or manufacturing; multinational exposure is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Tier‑1 preferred); MBA or relevant supply‑chain certifications (e.g., APICS) are desirable.
• Strong business acumen, decision‑making and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP and best‑of‑breed planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Llamasoft, E2Open, Anaplan, JDA.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
