SCM Coordinator – Solar Project Management

About the role

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Coordinator will lead the end‑to‑end supply chain for gigawatt‑scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring that materials move smoothly from international manufacturers through Indian ports to remote construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor equipment availability and delivery schedules to avoid construction delays.
• Track logistics data, manage inbound and outbound shipments, and coordinate with customs and port authorities.
• Maintain accurate material inventories and enforce conservation measures against harsh local conditions.
• Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and construction teams to align delivery with project milestones.
• Provide regular status reports and risk assessments to senior project leadership.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive supply chain, logistics or material coordination experience in heavy infrastructure or energy sectors.
• 3‑5 years of direct experience on utility‑scale renewable energy projects, preferably large‑scale solar (300 MW + or gigawatt).
• Experience with mega‑scale solar park designs in India is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven track record of preventing costly site delays.
