School Van Driver

About the role

The School Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students of CS Academy to and from school each day. The role requires punctuality, a strong sense of safety, and the ability to create a respectful environment for young passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the school van on assigned routes, ensuring timely pick‑up and drop‑off of students.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Enforce safety rules, including seat‑belt usage where applicable.
• Assist children, including those with special needs, during boarding and alighting.
• Keep accurate attendance records and trip logs.
• Communicate with school authorities, parents, and other drivers as needed.
• Participate in scheduled training sessions and safety meetings.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence for a light commercial vehicle.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of local traffic regulations.
• Ability to interact courteously with children, parents, and school staff.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical ability to assist students and handle basic vehicle upkeep.
