School Van Driver

About the role

The School Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from CS Academy campuses in Coimbatore. The role requires punctuality, adherence to traffic and safety regulations, and the ability to create a respectful environment for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the school van along assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students on time.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensure student safety during boarding, travel, and alighting, including seat‑belt usage where applicable.
• Keep accurate attendance records and trip logs.
• Assist students with special needs or younger children as required.
• Cooperate with school authorities, parents, and other drivers.
• Attend scheduled training sessions or meetings.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence appropriate for a passenger‑car/van.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of local traffic rules.
• Ability to manage children safely and courteously.
• Reliability, punctuality and good communication skills.
