School Infirmary Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate nurse to manage the school infirmary and provide essential health care to students and staff. The role involves delivering first‑aid, handling medical emergencies, and supporting overall student wellbeing within a school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid and basic nursing care to students and staff.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records for all students.
• Manage the infirmary, including medical supplies and first‑aid inventory.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and external healthcare providers as needed.
• Promote hygiene, infection control, and overall health practices within the school.
• Ensure compliance with school health, safety, and safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid registration with the Nursing Council.
• Relevant nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and emergency response abilities.
