About the role

The Bloomingdale International School is seeking a compassionate Infirmary Nurse to provide health services to students and staff during school hours. The role involves delivering first aid, managing illnesses, and supporting overall well‑being in a child‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
• Assess and manage illnesses or injuries that occur on campus.
• Maintain confidential medical records and health information.
• Manage inventory of medicines and medical supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Coordinate with hospitals, parents, and school leadership during emergencies.
• Support administrative and medical needs during school events.
• Promote health education and awareness among the school community.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or school settings.
• Strong knowledge of first aid, infection control, and child health care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Calm, compassionate, and child‑friendly demeanor.
